Nothing it was morbid. we slept in a room like an oven with no windows, mosquitos,a no entry chain across the kitchen, water hammer in the pipes all night, and a noisey boiler.the breakfast consisted of cheese so thin you could actually see through it and the same for the ham.no croisants, cold tea.changed rooms and had no shower but a bath with no hot water 30 mins to half fill.
As above didnt like anything except the manageress was really nice. I would rather stay with norman bates and i kept expecting him to crash through the door any minute

Lovely old villa with spacious bedrooms marble bathrooms and good breakfast. The surrounding gardens are beautiful.
Poor water pressure often with no hot water and shower placed at knee level!!!! Not an easy or pleasant walk to get evening meal and nothing nearby.

An absolutely beautiful setting off the beaten path...we were greeted by Lin, the delightful young lady that manages the property. She was very helpful in suggesting some points of interest as well as assisting us with the best transportation for our needs. She had breakfast ready each morning which we enjoyed with our fellow guests. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The building is big old villa with garden around it. Rooms are old- fashion furnished with nice paintings and other interesting decorations.
Sorry to say that the staff was not very friendly, except of one young lady who speaks English other staff seems angry.

There is something severely dysfunctional about this bed and breakfast. It seems to have a personality disorder. To be specific, the management, although they have opened their house to guests, doesn’t seem to actually want them. No doubt the owners are very cultivated people, and their home is truly lovely. I’m only left wondering why they have opened it to guests when the vocation obviously doesn’t suit them. Fortunately, they are lucky enough to have hired a staff that makes up for their own shortcomings as managers.

i liked the grounds around the estate. I thought that the decor was ok, but so many things did not work i.e. the doors did not open and close properly. The flusher for the toilet (plastic) was taped to the wall, the light bulbs were out, the towels were old and threadbare, the blankets were old and not so clean, the room was very cold and the hot water did not exist. The temperature of the shower was just above cold. This matched the coldness of the owners; or maybe the coldness of the owners was downright cold.
No heat, no hot water, unwelcoming attitude, ugly experience. It is a shame because it could be a wonderful place to stay, but it seems the owners feel invaded by their guests.

Impressive Interiour Design, nice location
The host family was terribly unfriendly. It was a big fight just to get some hot water for someone laying ill in bed. It looks they don't like guests but need the money... The Philippine girl doing the whole work was ok. We would never even think of going there again.

We had 2 wait outside for 20mins until someone came to let us in. We had no hot water and no staff were around to tell.

The staff
Poor breakfast, too far from the centre, we spent a fortune on bus tickets and taxis. The villa is dark and would benefit from a total refurbishment.

Beautiful style of house in idyllic grounds. The house is full of art works and luxuriant furnishings. A real sense of being in the country whilst only 15 minutes from Florence centre. Our room was large and charmingly decorated in an old fashioned way.
Lack of air conditioning in our room made sleeping difficult on hot nights, in spite of being advertised as having air conditioning. We weren't given information about available facilities at the house ie that we get a cup of tea or coffee after hours.

The location of the hotel and the purpose it served for 6 travelers to stay together.
The staff seemed irritated by our need for adjustment of our hot water each morning. The first 2 mornings; we had no hot water and a hot water tank that was leaking. Staff was not around to help guide/answer questions any time other than morning at breakfast time.

Their receptionist (from Philippine) was not kind and not polite .At one point the man the receptionist call the boss (Italian) shouted at the children. If you ask something they were lazy to do it .They give us one room that does not lock .They have not change the towels and the bed sheets for the three days we were there. Their breakfast is no good and all cold.

Brekfast and surranding.
The shower was dirty. We have found old soap in the edge of shower. Additionally we have watched the culture of the fungi of the shower wall.

The hotel was very difficult to find, was not in Fiesole and did not 'overlook Florence'. No evening meals served and it was necessary to bus into Florence to get a meal!! To get to Fiesole one has to bus into Florence and then out again and obviously do the reverse to regain the hotel!!
